We exist to proclaim the worth of Jesus and to cast vision for a house of prayer in Sacramento.
INTERCESSORY MISSIONARIES
Night and Day prayer at the House of Prayer Sacramento is made possible by Intercessory Missionaries. These are individuals who have answered God’s call on their life to build night and day prayer in their city occupationally. Intercessory missionaries devote half of their time to prayer and intercession and half of their time to ministries building 24/7 prayer and worship.

Who We Are
We are a house of prayer in Sacramento. Everyone is invited to join us for these times that include worship, teachings, and a time to pray and ask God to pour out His Spirit over Sacramento. We also have many other events happening throughout the month that everyone is welcome to join.
The Vision
Jesus said the primary function of His church would be as a “house of prayer” in Matthew 21:13. Because Jesus is worthy of our adoration and wants many people to walk in friendship with Him, we desire to see a place that exalts Him night and day unto seeing His gospel and His justice flow into our city.
Statement of Faith
The Apostle’s Creed:
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day, He rose again.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) Church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
HOW WE ARE BUILDING
Through these weekly gatherings we are teaching on biblical principles that help to connect people to the reason why God wants a night and day prayer reality in the cities of the earth. We are offering trainings and equipping everyone including singers, musicians, sound techs, and prayer leaders that will lead a worship and prayer environment in the house of prayer.
As God enables us , we will offer daily prayer meetings throughout the day with each prayer meeting having a focus: Devotional prayer for you to seek the Lord and study, Corporate Intercession to pray over specific topics for our city, state, and the nations, worship with the word which is a singing bible study providing an atmosphere for reading the Bible and personal prayer.
Events
The House of Prayer Sacramento is providing trainings and teachings, community times, and prayer room events all to see night and day prayer in our city. These events are to strengthen us together, and to corporately pursue Jesus. Everyone is welcome to these events and trainings.

Our vision is to have 24/7 prayer and worship in our house of prayer. We will increase our hours and be open around the clock when we will have staff to sustain it.

When giving to the House of Prayer, it covers costs such as the building, instruments, sound systems, and supplies & materials needed to run the prayer room.

We have intercession sets throughout the week for various topics.
Our intercession sets are:
Tuesdays 6-8am
Wednesday 8-10am
Thursday 6-7am
Thursday 10am-12pm
Thursday 11pm-12am
Friday 1-2am
Friday 8-9pm

There are a few ways to get involved in the prayer room. Some of the ways are:
- Come to open prayer room hours and pray in the room. Our prayer room hours can be found here
- If you are a singer or musician and want to participate on a team or do a devotional set, attend a Harp and Bowl training that happens regularly. The dates for our next trainings can be found here. After the training, an audition can be set up.
- Come to our services, which are Tuesdays 7-9pm for Young Adults, and Thursdays 7-9pm for our Encounter God Service
- Complete an internship. This is a key way to get involved in the prayer room as well as help you increase your prayer room hours. Internship information can be found here
